Ecological cleaning is becoming increasingly important. It goes without saying that LEMA makes every effort to meet this requirement in the best possible way. In order to use cleaning agents sparingly or to avoid them completely, high performance in terms of pressure (bar) and water volume (l/h) is a prerequisite. Especially by heating the water in the boiler of the hot water high pressure cleaner, the cleaning performance can be increased enormously and thus in most cases the addition of cleaning chemicals can be dispensed with, which leads to ecological cleaning.
Tip for ecological cleaning:
If possible, do not clean a forecourt when it is extremely dry. If the floor is a little damp (from the last rain or in the morning), dirt, coatings or even moss and grass etc. come off much more easily (you can, for example, spray the entire surface first in one wash cycle in order to be able to eliminate the dirt all the more quickly in the second cycle).
This is especially true for areas where weeds grow in the spaces. Here, cleaning with high pressure, possibly also in combination with a surface washer, is a good alternative to chemical cleaning.
Many public institutions, as well as environmentally conscious citizens, voluntarily refrain from using glyphosate in order not to pollute our soil and groundwater. Another method of destroying weeds in an environmentally friendly way is to treat the areas in question with almost boiling hot water.
